The Parkyns were determined not to cut corners, and visited some of the Maple’sprevious clients, talking to them about the service. Chris wanted Maple to obtain building regulation consent, supply and erect the frame, and provide the second fix carpentry, but preferred to subcontract out to the various other trades and purchase further materials for himself.
